Best Wedding Video Ever

This couple looks like they had SO MUCH FUN on their wedding day! And the guests too!

What a great idea... It obviously took a lot of planning and coordination to do this on their wedding day, but it was totally worth it. I would love to see this done with other songs (since Black Eyed Peas could get a little old...):

Pie Pops for Pi Day!

To celebrate National Pi Day (3/14) I would love to make these pie pops! I saw them back in the fall with apple pie and I fell in love.

Feature Friday

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday this week, today's Feature Friday should obviously be dedicated to him.

I saw this Dr. Seuss baby shower a while back over at Kara's Party Ideas and I can't get it out of my head! Every now and then you'll find little Dr. Seuss treasures in the dollar bins at Target and I am always so tempted to load up on them just in case I decide to throw one of these parties myself!
She had little themed tables and areas for each of the popular Dr. Seuss books including Horton Hears a Who:

How cute are those pom "clovers" and fluff?? What a cute idea! I love the diaper cake and the little stuffed Horton that completes the table. But the cuteness factor is totally doubled with these adorable fluff cupcakes:

She used cupcaked topped with cotton candy and made the toppers using magnets. Love it!

She also made green cupcakes and green deviled eggs for her Green Eggs and Ham table. Again, the cute toppers really keep the theme going!

At the One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish table, she had these cute little fish and pins. This would be a great spot for some swedish fish candy in little bowls as well!

More of the details included layered parfaits, cute lifesaver Cat in the Hat hats, punching balls hanging from the ceiling, mini books and lunchboxes, Sneeches and stars, cute Seuss favors and toys, Thing 1 and Thing 2 cupcakes, and so much more!

Feature Friday

I love today's featured party: A Vintage Pop Art inspired Super Hero Party!

This party was featured on Hostess with the Mostess and was styled and executed by the incredibly talented Maureen of Anders Ruff. Her son insisted on a super hero party, and not one to use cheesy characters, Maureen designed her own artwork and created this amazing party!

There are so many details and pictures from this party that I'm just going to share a few of the details here. Please visit Hostess with the Mostess for more details and images. She drew the picture of her son Peirson and used it as a colored background and a black & white "pin the patch on the super hero" game. Such an artist!

She used square glass containers to hold color-themed candies and added "windows" on the side with cardstock to continue with the skyscraper theme.

The bright colors of blue, red and yellow were really carried all the way through the decor and the food. I LOVE these layered jello shots and "3" suckers:

And isn't this cake perfect??

Maureen really thought of every detail- even a telephone booth (DIY project from a refrigerator box) that the kids could change in and transform into their own super hero- complete with their own monogrammed cape!

The bar was surrounded with an enlarged black and white city scape that the kids could color. The favor boxes were super cute too- the same black & white image with some "BAM" and "POW" graphics added for color.

The details of this party are truly remarkable. I could look at the pictures for hours!
